At Prometheus, a fintech startup that aims to open the door to hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital for high-net-worth investors, I wore multiple hats, but all of them revolved around the same mission: turning intimidating financial concepts into approachable, trustworthy content.
I collaborated closely with product managers and designers to create clear, engaging UX and onboarding content for a platform where the stakes (and the dollar signs) are high. Users told us, via interviews and support queries, that while they were eager to explore alternative assets, they often felt excluded by the opaque language of traditional finance.
That’s where my favorite contribution came in: I created and scripted a video series demystifying alternative investments—breaking down topics like hedge funds, private credit, and risk-adjusted returns into snackable, visually engaging lessons. Working alongside a video production team, I shaped each episode’s narrative arc and tone, bringing warmth to what could easily become PowerPoint-with-voiceover territory.
In tandem with the video content, I ghostwrote thought leadership pieces for our CEO that were published in Forbes and NASDAQ, making the case for broader investor access and explaining market trends with clarity and conviction.
My work didn’t just inform—it built trust. The voice I helped establish gave Prometheus early credibility in a complex, high-stakes space, and laid the groundwork for scalable, user-friendly content across channels.
