When potential customers land on a debit card page, they’re not looking for a deep dive—they’re looking for clarity, confidence, and a clear next step. That was my guiding principle as I streamlined and refreshed the content for Bank of America’s Checking & Debit Card page.
Working closely with design and product owners, I trimmed unnecessary complexity and restructured key messaging to focus on what users need most at the start of their journey: what the card offers, how to get it, and why it matters. My goal was to remove friction and help people make informed decisions without overwhelming them.
Every word was chosen to reflect our latest voice and tone standards—clear, concise, and customer-first. By simplifying language and surfacing the most relevant details, I helped create a smoother, more intuitive entry point for prospective customers exploring their options.
